Aloe vera has travelled far through human cultivation, becoming familiar in warm gardens and household care. Its succulent leaves store water, while good drainage helps keep its roots healthy. Surviving a dry spell still depends on the right conditions.
Keep reserves and use them thoughtfully. A garden, like a person, needs chances to replenish what difficult seasons have drawn away.
GIFTS OF THE PLANT
Clear inner gel appears in soothing skin products. Some studies suggest benefits for minor burns, though results depend on the preparation. Yellow latex beneath the skin is different and can be harmful if swallowed. Use prepared products as directed. Do not taste or cut garden leaves.

O aloé-vera viajou muito através do cultivo humano, tornando-se familiar nos jardins quentes e nos cuidados de casa. As folhas suculentas guardam água, e uma boa drenagem ajuda a manter as raízes saudáveis. Sobreviver à seca continua a depender das condições certas.
